Global warming threaten reptiles' survival
This month a group of scientist from the British university of Exeter and from the French university of Toulouse investigated that the global warming is destroying the environment. They made an investigation using lizards; they put them in a small container with high temperature and discover that the bacteria flora of their intestine dies.
The OMS report that chile is the first country in Latinoamerica with the most harmfull air pollution and this needs to be lower if we want to have a healthy life, because the air that we breath now is the same as smoke three cigarrets a day.
Every time that we use the car, we drop rubbish
to the floor, we burn trees, examples of pollution, we are destroying the
ozone layer and as a consequence we heat the planet, the ice of the poles are melting, the smog in the cities damage the health of poeple.
We need to stop this immediately, we need to be
aware of what we are doing with our planet, make projects to clean the planet,
and start teaching to the new generations that the planet has a limit and we
need to take care of it.
I totally agree with you, Nicolas. I think that we have to be aware of the consequences that , our actions, produce in the planet. The global warming, water and air pollution are just some examples of the damage we are making, and if we don´t open our eyes to this international problem, this is only going to get worst.
ReplyDeleteI very much agree with you and it is true that in chile the Government should make more laws to take care of our flora and fauna. Because in the world and in Chile is disappearing many species and perhaps in the future we can´t fix this.
ReplyDeleteBesides contaminating our water and air, animals are going to be extinct very soon. Animals are living things just like us, we have to take care of them. Also I do not think that we want to our future generation lose the chance of seeing exotic animals like penguins. Because by contaminating our oceans, and destroying the ozone layer, we are removing them from their habitat and soon they will not have a place to live. So let's reflect about penguins, make little changes like taking our bicycle instead our car or take shorter showers.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. Global warming is killing our planet. We must be conscious of how our actions affect the environment. Long showers, are a waste of water, why not make them shorter? The planet needs our help. Just in simple changes on our daily rutine!
ReplyDeleteAs you said, we need to stop, we cannot abuse from our planet. WE need to make a change, and not wait for another one to start it, you have to start now. Every little detail helps like riding more in a bike, turning off the lights, etc. Also this is a good opportunity for those who smoke to understand how much damage they are doing to their systems. Like Nico said, in our daily life, due to the smog, we "smoke" 3 cigarettes a day, why smoke more?

I agree with you, Nicolas. We need to do something now because this is a problem tuat is growing day a day, so if we don't do something now, in the future it will be imposible to stop this. Like Asu said "Trump doesnt believe in global warming", many people think like Trump, all need to have the attitud to stop this
ReplyDeleteNicolas, I think your post is a very good step to make people aware of this problem. We are constantly listening about global warming, but being notify by facts of your own country it´s really overwhelming. Three cigarrets a day! I can´t believe it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Nico. The temperatures are rising at such a fast pace that we are losing species of animals DAILY. Altough some people think that global warming is fake, the facts are undeniable and we must chance some aspects of our lives so we can save the planet.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you Nicolas. Global warming is killing our planet, we are killing our planet. We can not abuse of its resources . We have to be more conscious about how our everyday actions affect the globe. Maybe it is not todays problem but we need to think in our kids, how would be their lives without water, or without a clean air. We have to start making a change now.

ReplyDeleteIn the first place we should stop testing on animals, you can´t help the environment by testing in innocent creatures, and worst "see if they die" putting them in small containers with high temperatures. If you put a dog, insect or even a human inside something like that, then of course something will colapse inside their systems; if this test was made with a dog or cat, for sure greenpeace would be demanding laboratories for "cruelty" because dogs are cute, however when it comes to a lizard, its life doesn´t matter. If we really want to make a change in the environment, that no other species but US, has polluted, we should start doing things right, put a little more effort than simply throwing our trash were we should. Stop abusing of others lives.
ReplyDeleteI believe this is an important issue that many of us are awere of and talk about it, but just a few of us actually do something to prevent it so we should leave our actions talk by themselves and lets start making a better world for our future generations.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the idea that we have to make a change in the way we use the planet's resources. We have to find a balance between what we take and what we take care of the nature. This problem will not be solved until everyone understands the serious consequences that will bring us.

Thanks to your post we know that this isn't just affecting us but animals too and they are very important for us because without them we can't live. ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you Nicolás, global warming is something that is constantly affecting us an if we keep destroying our planet the next generations will be in serious trouble. We as a community should do something about it and let people know what is causing us because not many people are aware of it and they just keep throwing trash into the streets and doesn´t care about the damage they make.

Its very simple, we just have to educate the children of this country all the bad things about pollution and make people who thriw garbage, etc, to be seen in a bad way.
